My big brother is Richie

Our beautiful baby boy, Ben, was born with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS)

In simplest terms, he has only half a functioning heart. His under developed left ventricle, atrium, mital valve, aorta and aortic valve are, as the doctors put it, "incompatible with life", if left untreated.

Luckily, there is hope for Ben.
